For my Reflective Project I decided to research the ethics of the use of genetically modified organisms in farming. I chose this topic because I think that as awareness is increasing about the consequences (both positive and negative) of what we decide to put in our bodies to our health, it is becoming increasingly more important to question the methods used to get the food from the farms to our plates. Also I feel passionately about environmental issues, therefore I believe that it's important to discuss and raise awareness about these kinds of issues. 

This topic connects to my chosen career path, health sciences, because what we put into our bodies, or what we eat, has been proven to an effect on our overall health and well being.
